Day in the Life

Watching the news shows, internet, twitter for news of the debt ceiling debate.  This whole debate is equal to "I'll will pay you on Tuesday for a hamburger today."  Oh Goody, we save roughly 3 Trillion over the next 10 years.  that's TRILLION with a T.  So, now instead of running up 10 Trillion in debt, we only are going to run up 7.  OMG!  Please explain how that is a good deal?  Really, this is all you can come up with?? And shame on you Congressmen and Congresswomen that only come up with Defense cuts before Really looking into programs that are asinine to keep.  I've heard of several in the past couple of days....watermelon subsidies, program to the state of RI ($400,000) to prevent teen suicide, researching the genitals of African men and the spread of Aids.  Tell me how this helps me and you here in the states.  I'm a suicide survivor but tell me how you are going to prevent suicide with that money?  The military should have all funds necessary for them to succeed in their mission, PERIOD!  Yes, they should start to come home from foreign wars but only when we have made sure there's no threat to the U.S.  I have an idea for cuts in defense, how about not spending one more dime on whatever mission we have in Libya!  Congress has not approved this exercise anyway.  So....Please someone explain this simple concept of how you spend more money than what you bring in??  How can we continue to borrow money from China and believe this is good for us here??  China's interest is only in China, so let's quit giving them our country and buckle down and come up with a REAL SOLUTION to the debt CRISIS.
